Winter is real?!

I’m visiting home (Nebraska) for Thanksgiving.  And I love it, because I love seeing my family.

But it’s snowing.

For those of you who don’t know, I would rather it be 100 degrees than anything below 35.  I would rather have to wear just shorts than three shirts and a heavy coat.
But I suppose it’s nice to have the new perspective.  And it doesn’t take anything away from the fact that I’m still really excited to be here with my family and see some friends for a few days.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.  Be thankful for everything—not just the things that suit you.  Take joy in the fact that you are alive, and that Jesus Christ is so in love with you.  Be thankful for each breath that you are able to take only by the grace of God.  And dwell on the truth that there is always hope.

  1. Oh my golly, I lOVE SNOW!! When it snows, I am the most giddy ever! And I am completely opposite of you: I love it when it’s below 35 and can’t stand it if it is even above like 85.
